2019 Gift of Love Children’s Benefit

Gift of Love

Thursday, November 21, 2019
6:00 PM to 9:00 PM
Union Trust, 717 Chestnut Street

The APM Gift of Love Children’s Benefit is an annual gathering that celebrates bringing love, hope, and happiness to Philadelphians in need. Proceeds from the annual Benefit provide a memorable holiday experience for thousands of children and their families, through a week of holiday parties at various APM locations. Each party features food and drink, along with musical entertainment and a “Winter Wonderland” featuring Santa’s Workshop. In addition, new, age-appropriate toys are available at each location, and each child has the opportunity to pick which toy she or he wants. APM is able to give this experience to children and their families because of the generous support provided through the Gift of Love Children’s Benefit.

We are pleased to announce our honorees for this year:

·         Lydia Hernandez Velez, former Deputy Managing Director, City of Philadelphia – the Adelante Award

·         Brian Hudson, Executive Director, Pennsylvania Housing Finance Agency – the Community Forward Award

·         Angel Ortiz, President & CEO, The Ortiz Group and former Councilperson-at-Large for the City of Philadelphia –  the Lifetime Achievement Award
