In memory of Ron Blackburn-Moreno

It is with great sadness that we learned of the passing of Ron Blackburn-Moreno.

On behalf of Asociación Puertorriqueños en Marcha (APM), we extend our heartfelt condolences to the Blackburn-Moreno family. We mourn deeply with all that have been touched by this immense loss.

“It has been a great privilege to serve with Ron on the National Puerto Rican Executive Board. I was always struck by the force of Ron’s personality, intellect, and ability to rise above artificial divisions. He was a consistent voice of reason that kept us focused on our mission – the pursuit of social and economic justice for the Puerto Rican community.” Said Nilda Ruiz, NPRA President and CEO of APM.

His energy and life-long dedication to improving the lives of the Puerto Rican people will continue to inspire generations to come.

We are committed to celebrating the extraordinary life of an activist who will be remembered as a tireless and committed champion of education and youth development for the community he cared so much about.

We are grateful for the legacy he has left.
